Well the bleachers are up on Colorado and the Rose Parade has alost hit Pasadena. My roses in the graden look sad and small after a siege of cold nights and dry days. The water rationing in California is getting to the garden.
Tomorrow we are off to Equifest a sort of Rose Parade preview show for all horse lovers. I suppose that the riders from all over the country and their horses have to do something while waiting for the long cold night of New Years Eve to be over. I am told by our friend Jann of Sweden who is Horse Marshall for the parade that they wait all night across the other side of the 134 freeway with horses and trailers to get into line at around 4am. Sounds like what we do before a Chinese New Year event.
